Bio
Dr. Patrick Kelly is a board-certified radiation oncologist with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. He specializes in treating gastrointestinal and breast malignancies and has expertise in:
- Providing proton beam radiation therapy
- Performing stereotactic radiosurgery
- Providing stereotactic body radiotherapy for the lung, liver and spinal metastases
Dr. Kelly also serves as director of the Research and Clinical Trials Program at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute.
Dr. Kelly’s Training
Dr. Kelly graduated summa cum laude with his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. He completed a combined MD/PhD degree program at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and performed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
About Dr. Kelly
Dr. Kelly holds multiple patents related to cancer treatments. His research has included improving the delivery of MRI-guided radiation therapy and improving outcomes in the treatments for rectal and esophageal cancers. He has been published in peer-reviewed journals on numerous aspects of radiation techniques and outcomes.
He is board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology.

The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
