Bio
Sreeram Maddipatla, MD, MPH, is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. He serves as a medical oncologist/hematologist for the Liver Center and Pancreas Center at Orlando Health Cancer Institute.
Dr. Maddipatla received his medical degree from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in Bangalore, India, and his master's degree in public health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. He completed an internal medicine residency at University at Buffalo, State University of New York and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Orlando Health Cancer Institute.
Dr. Maddipatla has received numerous awards, including Outstanding Public Health Student from the University of North Texas. He was also presented with the Exemplary Physician Colleague award by Orlando Health Nursing. During his fellowship, he was awarded the Dinah Kukes Research Grant from Phi Mu Foundation.
Dr. Maddipatla has presented his research at various national meetings, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and Society of Surgical Oncology. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Clinical Cancer Research and Oncology. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, ASCO and ASH.
